The Desktop Support role at e sol involves providing technical support for end users, focusing on troubleshooting and resolving issues related to desktop and laptop systems, printers, and smart devices. Responsibilities

• Test, identify, repair, and resolve end user technical issues related to network, desktop, and laptop support.
• Troubleshoot and resolve software issues, including reimaging computers and hard drives.
• Perform IMACD functions, including installation and decommissioning of equipment.
• Backup and restore user data and settings, along with associated systems administration activities.
• Assist ServiceDesk and Remote Desktop Support teams with hands-on coordination efforts.
• Participate in Incident and Problem management activities.
• Take ownership of issues through to resolution for all appropriate requests.
• Categorize and prioritize end user support requests using a ticketing system to track tickets and provide status updates.
• Move equipment associated with escalated incidents and service requests.
• Perform asset inventory activities as needed.

Requirements

• Experience in desktop support and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of basic network configurations and issues.
• Familiarity with various operating systems and software applications.
• Ability to document technical issues and resolutions accurately.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with mobile device support (iPhone, iPad, etc.).
• Familiarity with ticketing systems for tracking support requests.
