About The Position

The Registered Nurse - Home Dialysis (HDRN) at Puget Sound Kidney Centers is responsible for overseeing the training and care of patients undergoing Peritoneal Dialysis (PD) and Home Hemodialysis (HHD). This role focuses on educating and supporting patients, enabling them to perform dialysis at home, while also supervising Home Dialysis Technicians. The position requires a commitment to patient-centered care and collaboration within a dedicated healthcare team.

Requirements

• Degree from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license from the WA State Board of Nursing or Multi-State Compact Nurse license.
• Current CPR certification with a Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers card from the American Heart Association.
• Minimum of twelve (12) months experience as an RN.
• Experience in hemodialysis or peritoneal dialysis is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide training and education to home dialysis patients.
• Oversee the care and nursing support for assigned home dialysis patients.

• Participate in patient assessments and care planning.
• Take call on a rotating schedule as needed.
