About the position

The Maintenance Technician role at Aim Higher Supportive Services, Inc. involves performing routine maintenance and repairs on various equipment and systems, ensuring efficient operation and high-quality facilities. The technician will work independently and as part of a team, providing excellent customer service and addressing maintenance requests promptly.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on plumbing and electrical systems.
• Conduct residential painting tasks to maintain aesthetic quality.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing concerns promptly.
• Complete maintenance service order requests including appliance repair, electrical, painting, carpentry, and general maintenance.
• Process work-orders daily and complete them within 24 to 48 hours unless extenuating circumstances arise.
• Perform monthly inspections of facilities.
• Complete grounds work including trash pickup, sweeping, raking leaves, and cutting grass.
• Respond to 24-hour emergency maintenance service requests.
• Ensure cleanliness of the office, leasing areas, and model units.
• Maintain a professional and courteous manner with residents, vendors, contractors, and fellow employees.
• Move items from offices and/or residences as needed.
• Handle special projects and other responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

• Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field is preferred.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various systems effectively.
• Experience in supervising teams is a plus.
