About the position

The Data Management Specialist plays a crucial role in the tempering department by managing data related to manpower, equipment downtime, and daily production metrics. This position supports the audit process and new hire allocation while enhancing the reputation of the management through effective communication and ownership of tasks.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the weekly manpower report of tempering
• Responsible for the daily equipment downtime data collection of tempering
• Responsible for part of the reimbursement for tempering
• Responsible for translating documents as required by managers
• Responsible for tracking daily scraps and reworks of glass in tempering
• Support with new hire allocation and meet with orientation personnel weekly
• Support with the audit process of the tempering department
• Accept ownership for accomplishing new and different requests and exploring opportunities to add value.

Requirements

• 1 to 3 years of manufacturing experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
• Bachelor's degree or higher
• Ability to read, understand, and comprehend documents such as safety rules and operating instructions
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
• Ability to speak effectively and interact with team members, engineers, leadership, and customers

Nice-to-haves

• Master lamination technology, equipment, and quality requirements
• Familiarity with production cost management and control plans
• Familiarity with TS16949 Quality Management System
• Experience with systematic 5S/TPM/IE training
