About the position

We are seeking an experienced and responsible US Truck Driver with a valid CDL B (Class B Commercial Driver's License) to join our transportation team. The role involves safely and efficiently driving heavy-duty trucks for long-haul or short-haul transportation tasks, ensuring timely delivery of goods in good condition. This position requires excellent driving skills, a thorough understanding of traffic regulations, and a high level of responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy-duty trucks for cargo transportation according to dispatch schedules, adhering to traffic rules and safety procedures.
• Assist with loading and unloading cargo, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage or loss.
• Plan driving routes based on cargo destinations and traffic conditions to ensure punctual arrival.
• Regularly inspect and maintain vehicles to ensure they are in good operating condition.
• Accurately record mileage, fuel consumption, and cargo handovers, submitting reports as required.
• Comply with all applicable federal and state traffic regulations.

Requirements

• Must hold a valid US CDL B driver's license with no major traffic violations.
• At least 2 years of related driving experience, familiar with long-haul and short-haul transportation processes.
• Excellent driving skills, able to drive safely in various weather and road conditions.
• Good communication skills and teamwork spirit, able to collaborate effectively with dispatchers and loading personnel.
• Ability to read and understand maps and GPS navigation, with route planning ability.
• Pass drug tests and background checks, with no criminal record.
• Good physical condition, able to adapt to long hours of driving and occasional overnight operations.
