About the position
The Behavioral / Mental Health Registered Nurse (RN) position is a full-time role focused on providing compassionate care to patients with various mental health conditions. The nurse will work in a multidisciplinary team environment, addressing complex emotional and physical needs of patients in a 17-bed inpatient unit. This role requires strong communication skills, empathy, and the ability to establish trust with patients while maintaining a calm demeanor in a potentially unpredictable environment.

Requirements
- Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Michigan.
- Strong foundation in behavioral sciences and medical science.
- Exceptional communication and relationship skills.

- Knowledge of psychiatric conditions such as schizophrenia and bipolar disorder.
