About the position
We are seeking an X-ray Technician to join our medical team. The ideal candidate will have experience working in various medical settings, including primary care, urgent care, and hospitals. Positions are available immediately with flexible hours, competitive salaries, good benefits, and more!
Responsibilities
- Perform X-ray imaging procedures following protocols and ensuring patient safety
- Prepare patients for X-ray procedures by explaining the process and positioning them correctly
- Capture diagnostic images as requested by healthcare providers
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality of information
- Assist in patient care activities such as taking vital signs, history, HPI and current medications
- Assist with the examination as well as procedures and treatments if/when required
Requirements
- ARRT certification is required
- Previous experience working in a clinical setting or similar environment
- Familiarity with X-ray equipment operation and maintenance
- Proficiency in conducting X-ray imaging for various medical specialties
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare professionals
Nice-to-haves
- Ability to speak Spanish or Punjabi is a plus
