About the position

The Software Engineer in Test Intern will assist in designing, developing, and executing automated and manual tests to ensure the quality of software products at Radian. This role involves close collaboration with the development team to identify defects, report issues, and ensure timely resolution of defects, contributing to the overall quality assurance process.

Responsibilities

• Assist in designing and developing automated and manual tests.
• Execute tests to ensure software quality.
• Identify defects and report issues to the development team.
• Collaborate with the development team for timely resolution of defects.
• Document and communicate testing results and defects.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Understanding of software development and testing methodologies.
• Familiarity with programming languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript, Typescript, or C#.
• Experience with test automation frameworks and tools such as Selenium, Robot, JUnit.
• Knowledge of software testing techniques such as unit testing, integration testing, and regression testing.
• Excellent communication skills for documenting and reporting defects.
• Understanding of software version control using tools such as Git or SVN.
