The APeX Enabled Research (AER) Build Analyst at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) plays a crucial role in the design, build, configuration, and support of research projects within the AER team. This position requires a seasoned clinical applications professional who can handle projects of medium size and complexity, or portions of larger projects. The AER team collaborates with various UCSF technical teams to deliver highly customized research solutions, making effective communication and innovative technical solutions essential for success. The AER team provides a wide range of services to the UCSF Research community, including project consultation, grant support, budget estimations, and project implementation and support. Examples of projects include the development of electronic health record (EHR)-based interventions through clinical trials embedded within healthcare delivery systems, enabling researchers with algorithms and digital tools, and supporting the development of scalable, low-cost infrastructure for ongoing research. The Epic Build Analyst will leverage their advanced Epic skills to support the UCSF clinical research community by building, configuring, and supporting projects of varying complexity. The position offers a competitive salary range of $97,948 - $180,027, which is subject to additional approvals based on UC policy. The final salary placement will depend on factors such as work experience and internal equity within the position classification at UCSF. The role is part of the Department of Information Technology Academic Research Systems (ARS) group, which is dedicated to providing data services and infrastructure to support the computing and analytic needs of the UCSF Research Community.
