About the position

The A/R Accountant at The Westin Riverfront Resort & Spa, managed by East West Hospitality, is responsible for managing Marriott Rewards receivables and ensuring accurate collections. This role involves meticulous record-keeping, supporting accounts receivable operations, and maintaining cash flow forecasts while handling confidential financial information. The position requires strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with a focus on improving guest and owner experiences.

Responsibilities

• Manage Marriott Rewards receivables and reconcile daily balances.
• Calculate the total owed for each reservation accurately.
• Ensure accurate payments through meticulous record-keeping.
• Resolve discrepancies with Marriott using strong communication skills.
• Support AR operations for the entire property, including cash folios, cancellations, and no-show stays.
• Prepare weekly reports for the Director.
• Maintain cash flow forecasts and ensure compliance with accounting policies.
• Respond to guest and owner requests, continuously seeking to improve their experience.

Requirements

• Strong Excel skills, including complex formulas like vlookup and sumifs.
• Previous accounting and data analysis experience preferred.
• Attention to detail and a passion for data.
