About the position

The A/R and A/P Specialist at OnDefend LLC is responsible for managing daily financial tasks essential for the smooth operation of the business. This role involves client invoicing, vendor payments, and collaboration with business units to ensure timely collections and accurate financial reporting. The specialist will also handle account reconciliations, journal entries, and provide financial summaries to management.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily financial tasks to maintain business operations.
• Manage client invoicing and ensure timely payments are received.
• Record vendor invoices and ensure timely payments are made.
• Prepare and process invoices for clients.
• Book journal entries for activities not captured by direct feeds.
• Conduct monthly account reconciliations to identify and rectify discrepancies.
• Provide customer billing support and assist with collections.
• Collaborate with CFO and management for month-end close and financial statement preparation.
• Analyze accounts and balances for management decision-making.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with a concentration in Accounting (preferred).
• 4+ years of experience in accounting roles.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks, including customer invoice creation and vendor invoice recording.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Bill.com (preferred).
• Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
