Korn Ferry has partnered with our client in their search for an Account Receivables and Credit Manager. This role will be responsible for all aspects of managing Accounts Receivables and Credit management strategy, including managing the accounts receivables and credit team and functions. The function is a key support function for the order-to-cash process. It will guide and support all regions and associated branches regarding establishing and monitoring customer credit terms, distributing invoices, driving collections and payments, and supporting customer requests. The position manages a critical process that meets our customers' needs, and the candidate must have an excellent customer experience mindset while collecting payments. The Account Receivables and Credit Manager will manage a team to establish and monitor customer credit terms, distribute invoices, collections, and handle customer requests. This role supervises a group of about 25, including two supervisors and one Lead. The manager will lead transformation initiatives to drive continuous improvement, agility, and visibility across the Accounts Receivables and Credit Risk Management by evaluating new technologies and industry best practices. It is essential to ensure that systems, policies, and procedures are in place, allowing branches and departments to reduce risk and improve invoice collection in a timely manner. Additionally, the manager will secure optimal utilization of the ERP platform to improve transparency and reduce waste throughout the Credit Management and Accounts Receivables Process. Responsibilities include managing credit risk, effectively distributing invoices, and collecting payments. The manager will also oversee payment deviations and ensure the regions can act with customers on past-due invoices. Other duties include overseeing credit reporting, inquiries/disputes to Dun & Bradstreet, maintaining Credit team processes and competency to ensure customer applications and COD requests are processed on time, and proactive account monitoring to determine credit limit worthiness. The manager will oversee the review and approval of credit authorizations, ensure all customer cards are accurate and updated as needed, and effectively manage certificate of insurance requirements. Finally, the manager will manage the invoice distribution strategy to ensure customers receive invoices in a timely manner in the agreed-upon format.
