About the position

Join our team as an Accounts Receivable Manager and play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our AR processes. We are looking for a detail-oriented leader who thrives in a dynamic environment and is committed to quality and change. In this position, you will supervise, train, and mentor both onsite and remote AR Analysts, setting and achieving team goals to enhance performance and productivity. You will be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate processing of AR activities, including invoicing, credit memos, and cash receipts, while adhering to Shared Services policies. As an Accounts Receivable Manager, you will assist other departments with discrepancies and customer inquiries, managing collections on overdue accounts effectively. Monitoring unapplied cash and maintaining precise records and control reports will be crucial to your role. You will oversee monthly accruals and ensure accurate general ledger updates, preparing monthly and quarterly reports to provide insights into the AR processes. Compliance with J-Sox documentation requirements will be a key focus, and you will be expected to recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency. Additionally, you will drive and implement changes to improve AR processes and organizational efficiency, ensuring that the team adapts to new challenges and opportunities.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Associate or bachelor's degree in Accounting.
  • 7+ years of experience in Accounts Receivable and account reconciliation.
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, and Oracle business software is desired.
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Capability to manage multiple projects independently.
  • Experience with system/process automation, Oracle, SAP or other large systems.
