About the position

Aramark’s Accelerate to Leadership (A2L) Program is a year-long development and training initiative designed specifically for recent college graduates. This program offers valuable work experience, mentorship from industry leaders, and professional training across various environments and business areas. Participants in the A2L Program will have the opportunity to take on leadership roles within Aramark while engaging in structured program activities and developmental exercises tailored to their individual career tracks. The program aims to empower early career talent to ignite their full potential and launch an accelerated career path at Aramark. As an Assistant Hospitality Manager, you will typically supervise entry-level employees and be responsible for leveraging processes and procedures to maximize productivity and ensure high-quality deliverables. Your role will involve monitoring and driving day-to-day operations, managing staffing and performance, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. You will also be tasked with managing payroll and leading quality improvement initiatives within your areas of responsibility. This position is crucial in supporting business operations and ensuring client satisfaction through effective resource allocation and management. Responsibilities

  • Monitor and drive day-to-day operations (55%)
  • Responsible for staffing, performance management, training, and resource planning (15%)
  • Lead document management activities to ensure policies and procedures are followed and practices comply with regulations (15%)
  • Manage quality improvement initiatives for areas of responsibility and ensure compliance with regulatory standards (10%)
  • Manage payroll using company software system (5%)

Requirements

  • Must graduate between December and August of the current school year for the rising A2L Program class
  • All degree requirements must be completed prior to the start date of the program
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by Aramark for this position now or in the future
  • A degree or background in hospitality, customer service, food service, facilities, operations, or sales
  • Relevant coursework or work experience
  • Strong leadership, project management, and execution skills
  • Great verbal, written, and professional communication skills with teammates, customers, clients, and leadership
  • Dynamic working skills to handle change and ambiguity in a fast-paced environment
