About the position

Aramark's Accelerate to Leadership (A2L) Program is designed for recent college graduates, providing them with valuable work experience, mentorship from industry leaders, and professional training across various environments and business areas. This year-long development and training program aims to equip participants with the resources necessary to ignite their full potential and launch an accelerated career path at Aramark. Selected candidates will have the opportunity to take on leadership roles within the company while participating in structured program activities and developmental exercises tailored to their career tracks. The A2L Program is committed to fostering communities rooted in service, inclusion, and shared prosperity, empowering individuals to make a significant impact. As part of this program, the Human Resources Manager will support Kauffman Stadium, home of the MLB Kansas City Royals, in Kansas City, MO. This position requires a fully onsite presence and a flexible event-based schedule. The HR Manager will take a hands-on approach to provide HR support, including staffing, employee relations, employee engagement, and leading the HR team. Key responsibilities include issue resolution, follow-up, and recommendations for corporate Centers of Excellence (COEs), including hotline call responses, investigations, corrective action/performance management consulting, and policy interpretation. The HR Manager will also coordinate employee engagement initiatives, serve as the point of contact for corporate engagement and celebration activities, and assist with talent acquisition for the corporate Accelerate to Leadership and Step Up to Leadership programs. Additionally, the role involves HR metrics reporting and analysis, as well as benefits and payroll assistance as needed, and overseeing onboarding programs and initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Provide HR support including staffing, employee relations, and employee engagement.
  • Lead the HR team at Kauffman Stadium.
  • Resolve issues and provide follow-up and recommendations for corporate COEs.
  • Coordinate employee engagement initiatives and corporate celebration activities.
  • Serve as the point of contact for talent acquisition for the A2L and Step Up to Leadership programs.
  • Report and analyze HR metrics.
  • Assist with benefits and payroll as needed.
  • Oversee onboarding programs and initiatives.

Requirements

  • Must graduate between December and August of the current school year for the A2L Program class.
  • All degree requirements must be completed prior to the start date of the program.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without requiring work authorization sponsorship.
  • A degree or background in hospitality, customer service, food service, facilities, operations, or sales is preferred.
  • Relevant coursework or work experience is preferred.
  • Strong leadership, project management, and execution skills are required.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and professional communication skills are necessary.
  • Ability to handle change and ambiguity in a fast-paced environment.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in hospitality or customer service roles.
  • Familiarity with food service or facilities operations.
  • Demonstrated project management experience.
