This position offers a 37.5 hour work week with no Sundays, allowing for a great work-life balance. You will be compensated bi-weekly, with the added benefit of a monthly incentive plan based on your individual performance. In your first year, you will accrue over three weeks of paid time off, along with a complimentary AAA Premier level membership. As a Staff Assistant/Team Lead, your primary duties will include consistently up-selling and cross-selling AAA products, such as new memberships, credit cards, and insurance referrals. You will also plan domestic travel vacations, which may include arranging car rentals, hotels, vacation packages, maps, tour books, and triptiks. During high call volumes, you will answer incoming overflow calls for Roadside Assistance. Additionally, you will serve as the lead and mentor for title clerks, ensuring that the title process is completed accurately. Supporting the Retail Manager, you will help enhance the customer experience by leading associates to success and promoting our Shared Values. In the absence of the Retail Manager, you will lead, guide, and direct the daily operations of the Retail Store, addressing administrative and associate-related issues, and serve as backup to the cashiers. To qualify for this position, you must have a high school diploma or GED and a minimum of three years of previous sales and/or customer service experience. Effective communication skills, both written and oral, are essential, along with proficient computer skills that allow you to multitask on several websites and programs. Knowledge of geography and the ability to read maps is a plus. You will also need to pass satisfactory pre-employment and post-employment screening results, including criminal, drug, and state/vendor-specific screenings. Additionally, you may need to obtain necessary Membership licenses as required to perform the essential functions of the position, and you should be able to obtain and maintain a Notary Public designation within six months of employment.
