About The Position

The Apprentice position at Aloha Air Cargo involves assisting A & P Mechanics in the maintenance and servicing of company aircraft. This entry-level role is designed for individuals pursuing their Airframe and Powerplant license, providing hands-on experience under the supervision of authorized personnel.

Requirements

• Airframe & Powerplant License (preferred)
• High school diploma or GED
• Valid State Driver's License
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test
• 5-year background check
• 10-year criminal history check
• Security threat assessment
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs and occasionally up to 70 lbs
• Regular attendance is required
• Enrollment in an accredited AMT program seeking both an Airframe and Powerplant license preferred

• Enrollment in an accredited AMT program
• Documented work experience program for Airframe and Powerplant license

Responsibilities

• Performing maintenance to company aircraft under the supervision of authorized personnel
• Servicing of aircraft
• Assisting in overhaul of aircraft components
• Cleaning of aircraft parts
• Setting up of support equipment
• Assisting with hanger maintenance activities
• Shift work required as needed
• Other duties as assigned
