About the position

The Regional Sales Manager for the Northeast Territory at AB&I Foundry is responsible for establishing and growing the company's presence in the cast iron and coupling market. This role involves building relationships with contractors, wholesalers, and distributors to support sales and profitability goals while providing quality customer service. The position requires effective time and budget management, market analysis, and collaboration with manufacturer representatives to enhance the company's market insights and sales strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Establish and grow the contractor and distributor base in the Northeast Territory.
  • Build meaningful business relationships with industry contractors, wholesalers, and distributors.
  • Gather important market information and provide quality customer service in support of sales and profitability goals.
  • Manage time and budgets effectively to meet the needs of the territory.
  • Establish a strong presence in the territory to gather and provide market insights.
  • Collaborate with Manufacturer Representative agencies where applicable.
  • Maintain knowledge of all distributors and companies within the territory.
  • Track and understand contractors' current jobs and activity within the territory.
  • Perform administrative duties including submitting weekly reports and preparing expense reports.
  • Set and monitor progress on goals and strategies for the next 120 days.

Requirements

  • Must reside in or be willing to relocate to the Northeast Territory.
  • At least five years of industry experience.
  • A minimum of five years of sales experience.
  • Must maintain an excellent driving record in accordance with the company vehicle policy.
  • Strong technical, verbal, written, and presentation skills.
