About the position

Autism Behavior Services, Inc. is currently accepting resumes for Full Time Behavior Specialists. Expertise in program design, functional behavioral assessments, report writing, goal development, parent training, and management of team members are necessary for the position of a Behavior Specialist. Autism Behavior Services, Inc. (ABSI) is dedicated to helping children on the Autism Spectrum and their families. We utilize applied behavior analysis (ABA) to teach individuals on the Autism Spectrum. Open availability is necessary.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct functional behavioral assessments
  • Design and implement behavior intervention plans
  • Write detailed reports on client progress
  • Develop goals for clients based on assessments
  • Provide parent training and support
  • Manage and supervise team members
  • Communicate effectively with clients and team members
  • Drive to various locations to meet client needs

Requirements

  • Completed Bachelor's Degree
  • Master's degree in ABA, Psychology or related field in progress
  • 2 or more years of experience in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)
  • Valid state issued driver's license and car insurance
  • Computer literate and highly dependable
  • Organized and detail-oriented
  • Flexible availability
  • Ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing
  • Ability to work in home, school, and clinical settings
  • Ability to walk, stand, stoop, and push a wheelchair
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds repetitively
  • Good leadership skills

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with children on the Autism Spectrum
  • Knowledge of evidence-based behavioral treatment methods
