About the position
The ABA Behavior Technician at A Change in Trajectory, Inc. is responsible for providing in-home one-on-one behavior therapy to children with autism spectrum disorder and related disorders. The role focuses on helping these children function more effectively in their everyday lives through evidence-based ABA strategies. The technician will collect data on targeted behaviors and collaborate with supervisors to plan future goals, ensuring a supportive and growth-oriented environment for both the children and their families.
Responsibilities
- Provide in-home one-on-one behavior therapy to children with autism spectrum disorder and related disorders.
- Collect data on targeted behaviors and analyze the information with supervisors.
- Plan next goals based on data collected during therapy sessions.
- Engage in active play and support children in developing essential skills.
- Maintain a reliable vehicle for transportation to clients' homes.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Valid California driver's license.
- Valid car insurance and good driving record.
- Ability to lift 40 lbs.
- Ability to run after a child if elopement occurs.
- Receptive to feedback and able to work well in a team.
