Responsibilities
- Work directly with children and families in their natural environments to teach communication, sharing, play, and other essential skills.
- Conduct sessions that are engaging and fun through play-based activities.
- Participate in in-house training programs to gain skills necessary for instructing children affected by autism.
- Collaborate with families to support their child's development and well-being.
Requirements
- Minimum of a high school diploma or GED.
- Valid driver's license and personal vehicle.
- Ability to work at least three weekdays with consistent availability.
- Positive attitude and strong people skills to effectively interact with children and families.
Nice-to-haves
- College coursework related to child development or psychology.
- Experience working with children, especially those with autism.
