About the position

The ABA Paraprofessional position is available immediately within the District. This role is part of the Support Staff for Special Education and involves working closely with students who require assistance in their learning processes. The successful candidate will be expected to conduct Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and discrete trials, utilizing technology effectively to support educational activities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct ABA and discrete trials with students.
• Utilize Zoom and Google platforms for communication and instruction.
• Assist in the implementation of educational programs for students with special needs.

Requirements

• Prior training in conducting ABA and discrete trials preferred.
• Minimum of 60 college credits or passed the Parapro praxis exam.
• Qualifying criminal history review necessary for public school employment.

Benefits

• Hourly pay rate of $28.63 for non-certificated individuals.
• Hourly pay rate of $31.40 for holders of NJ teaching certification.
• Work schedule of 5 days per week, 6.5 hours daily when school is in session.
