About the position

The Marketing Manager I/II at AbbVie Patient Services is responsible for supporting the strategy development and execution of marketing initiatives for the AbbVie Patient Services portfolio. This role requires a strong understanding of healthcare market dynamics and the ability to work in a complex, matrixed environment. The manager will lead efforts to optimize patient support programs, engage patients and providers, and manage cross-functional collaborations to ensure comprehensive governance of new initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Identify industry trends and competitive intelligence to optimize patient support programs and marketing initiatives.
  • Use market research and advisory boards to define strategic opportunities for engaging patients, providers, and office staff.
  • Create and implement cross brand initiatives aligned with APS's strategic imperatives and marketing priorities.
  • Work with Medical, Regulatory, Legal, OEC, BTS, and other teams for comprehensive governance of new initiatives.
  • Deliver detailed marketing briefs, develop timelines, and manage potential barriers.
  • Partner with Analytics and Business Insights to measure campaign effectiveness and recommend optimizations.
  • Collaborate with technology and business design teams to explore and implement new capabilities.
  • Oversee relationships with creative, data, digital, and strategic marketing agencies.
  • Efficiently manage the marketing budget.
  • Plan and execute multi-brand marketing campaigns aligned with the APS portfolio.
  • Optimize processes as marketing strategies evolve.
  • Build strong relationships with marketing peers and cross-functional partners.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5+ years in healthcare, pharma, biotech, or diagnostics marketing.
  • Digital marketing experience required.
  • Strong project management, planning, attention to detail, ability to analyze data and insights, and MS Office proficiency.
  • Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills.
  • Experience managing multiple external agencies.
