About the position

The Key Lead at Abercrombie & Fitch is responsible for ensuring a high-quality in-store experience for customers. This role involves acting as a Floor Supervisor, guiding and coaching Brand Representatives and Stock Associates to ensure effective store operations. The Key Lead is part of the store leadership team, focusing on enhancing customer experience and achieving daily sales goals.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure all customers receive a quality in-store experience.
  • Act as the Floor Supervisor, providing guidance and coaching to Brand Reps and Stock Associates.
  • Drive store performance through customer experience and team achievement of daily sales.
  • Maintain product knowledge and brand awareness.
  • Understand business operations and proactively think to improve them.
  • Pay attention to detail in all aspects of store operations.
  • Utilize register and point of sales systems effectively.
  • Implement asset protection measures.
  • Manage visual displays to enhance customer engagement.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent preferred.
  • At least 1 year of retail experience preferred.
  • Strong customer focus and communication skills.
  • Ability to interact well with others and build relationships.
  • Knowledge of fashion trends and retail dynamics.
  • Outgoing personality with assertiveness and adaptability.
  • Ability to handle stress and maintain poise in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong work ethic and commitment to promoting diversity and inclusion.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in supervisory or managerial roles (not required).
  • Knowledge of omni-channel services.
