About the position

The AC-130J Instructor Pilot position at Advanced Concepts Enterprises, Inc. involves providing on-site contract instructor support for the Air Force Special Operations Command (AFSOC) 492 Special Operation Wing (SOW). The role requires instructors to deliver training in accordance with Department of Defense (DoD) and Air Force standards, ensuring proficiency and qualification for various Air Force administered examinations and flight evaluations. The position emphasizes the importance of meeting training requirements and maintaining high standards of instruction.

Responsibilities

• Provide instruction in accordance with DoD, USSOCOM, and AFI standards.
• Ensure Syllabus tasks are 100% complete within the specified time.
• Complete the Aircrew Graduate Evaluation Program (AGEP) as per Air Force Instructions.
• Utilize air traffic control services and radio calls during instruction according to FAA regulations.
• Support instruction of the Crew Resource Management Course and CRM Facilitators Course.
• Support instruction of Night Vision Devices with qualified instructors.
• Contribute to the Critique Program with suggested changes.

Requirements

• Minimum of five years AFSOC aircrew experience required.
• Instructor candidates must have been instructor certified in the proposed MDS and current in U.S. military aircraft within the previous two years.
• Candidates formerly instructor certified in the proposed U.S. military MDS aircraft within the previous four years must have eight years of military operational flying duty and at least two years or 200 hours experience as an inflight instructor.
