About the position

The HVAC Operations Manager at Strada Services plays a crucial role in achieving the company's strategic objectives and annual goals by delivering exceptional service and support. This position involves overseeing field supervisors, managing expenses, ensuring safety compliance, and developing service staff to enhance performance and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Manage Field Supervisors and oversee their performance.
  • Oversee expenses, including labor costs, inventory, and fleet management.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and conduct incident investigations as necessary.
  • Evaluate work and personnel schedules to maximize efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain compliance with licensing, codes, and permits.
  • Conduct weekly meetings and direct work assignments to maximize production.
  • Review service tickets to ensure adherence to procedural standards.
  • Assist dispatch in ensuring accurate technician assignments and service completion times.
  • Resolve customer satisfaction issues on the same day they arise.
  • Participate in company-sponsored training classes.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree in a related field preferred.
  • Minimum five years of experience preferred, but not required.
  • Verifiable managerial, technical, or sales experience in residential service operations.
  • Extensive knowledge of powerline installation and repair of electrical systems.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Valid driver's license and clean MVR.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in residential and light commercial service operations.
  • Knowledge of local codes and permitting requirements.
