About the position
The University of Missouri School of Medicine is seeking a full-time Sleep Neurologist to join its Department of Neurology at the level of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor. This role involves expanding clinical offerings and research opportunities within the Sleep Medicine Program, which includes education for fellows, residents, and medical students. The position is part of a collaborative environment with strong ties to various subspecialties and a federally funded research program focused on sleep mechanisms.
Responsibilities
- Join a team of Sleep Neurologists to expand clinical offerings and research opportunities.
- Participate in the education of Sleep Medicine fellows, Neurology residents, and medical students.
- Engage in leadership positions within the Sleep Medicine and Neurology departments as available.
- Contribute to the department's growth and academic/research interests.
Requirements
- Completion of an ACGME accredited fellowship in Sleep Medicine and residency in Neurology is required.
- BC/BE MD/DO or MD/Ph.D. is required.
- Board-certified/Board Eligible status is considered experienced.
