About The Position
The School of Nursing is seeking a Director of Clinical Education (DCE) for the Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) Program. The DNP Director of Clinical Education appointment will be through the School of Nursing's Office of Academic Affairs. This position reports to the Associate Dean and DNP Program Director and has management responsibilities for DNP clinical placement and project coordinators. The DCE has administrative, academic, service, and scholarship responsibilities consistent with the mission and philosophy of the academic program. This individual demonstrates expertise in clinical education, and experiential learning. The DCE primary responsibilities are to plan, facilitate, administer, and monitor clinical education activities on behalf of the academic program and in collaboration with the program director.
