About the position

The Academic Services Coordinator (ASC) at the University of Denver's Morgridge College of Education plays a vital role in supporting academic and student services functions. This position aims to enhance enrollment, retention, and graduation rates by providing comprehensive support to faculty, staff, and students. The ASC serves as a liaison to various academic departments, ensuring effective communication and collaboration while maintaining high-quality customer service within the college and the broader university community.

Responsibilities

• Provide student services support including communicating information, requirements, and deadlines on quarterly academic processes.
• Assist with questions related to student status, academic progress, and student course registration.
• Maintain student and academic records; compile grades for review.
• Provide administrative support for assigned Morgridge department(s)/program(s) and faculty.
• Respond to various degree program inquiries and requests from internal and external constituents.
• Support Morgridge academic functions including faculty class and room scheduling.
• Ensure accuracy and updates in Banner and Courseleaf systems.
• Collaborate with Marketing and Communications on program communications.
• Organize college events and official functions focusing on student engagement and retention.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree.
• Two years of administrative experience in an office environment.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite including Excel, Outlook, and Word.
• Proficiency with office equipment including computers, printer, and copier.

Nice-to-haves

• Previous professional experience in higher education and/or student services.
• Knowledge of Banner system and university policies and procedures.
