About the position
Peak Learning Solutions is seeking experienced Advanced Spanish language instructors to provide tutoring services to students in various Spanish courses. The role offers flexibility in scheduling and the option to teach both in-person and virtually, with a strong commitment to student success and engagement.
Responsibilities
- Work one-on-one and in small groups with students in areas of qualification.
- Utilize multiple teaching modalities to achieve student success.
- Assess and evaluate student progress and adapt instruction as needed.
- Communicate regularly with parents, director, and others regarding student work.
- Document work with students and email notes to parents after each meeting.
Requirements
- Minimum of a 4-year bachelor's degree (graduate level preferred).
- Minimum of one year of classroom teaching experience or two years of alternative experience (e.g., tutoring).
- Basic computer skills and a laptop computer.
- Strong interpersonal skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to engage and inspire learners with a warm and friendly disposition.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in AP Spanish instruction.
