About the position
The Accelerated Management Program Associate - Operations is designed for individuals looking to build a career in service-oriented and relationship-based selling within the operations of Daikin Comfort Technologies. This full-time position offers a comprehensive training program that includes hands-on experience in various operational roles, such as counter sales, warehouse operations, and inside/showroom sales, while also preparing associates for outside sales responsibilities. The program emphasizes leadership development, customer relationship management, and business development skills.
Responsibilities
- Work face-to-face with customers to gain product knowledge and learn systems and processes.
- Gain hands-on experience with products, including shipping and receiving materials in the warehouse.
- Develop daily skills needed to become a successful Branch leader while building relationships with customers and the sales force.
- Learn the importance of meeting customer demands for quick response times and on-time delivery.
- Manage all sales functions for existing and prospective customers in a designated territory.
- Participate in training at the corporate location in Houston, TX to network with corporate leaders and support teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Management, Business, Sales, Entrepreneurial Studies, or a similar field.
- Graduation dates between May 2024 and May 2025.
- Detail-oriented with strong leadership and team-oriented skills.
- Self-motivated with an entrepreneurial spirit.
- Willingness to relocate for career opportunities upon completion of the program.
