About the position

This position focuses on service-oriented and relationship-based selling, providing a solid foundation of product, operational, and customer knowledge to excel in a career. The role includes two main tracks: Branch Operations and Outside Sales. In the Branch Operations track, responsibilities include counter sales, warehouse experience, and inside/showroom sales, all aimed at developing leadership skills and maintaining customer relationships. The Outside Sales track emphasizes business development, managing customer priorities, and training in Houston, TX to network with corporate leaders.

Responsibilities

  • Work face-to-face with customers in counter sales to gain product knowledge and learn systems and processes.
  • Gain hands-on experience with products in the warehouse, including shipping and receiving materials.
  • Develop daily skills in inside/showroom sales to become a successful Branch leader and build relationships with customers and the sales force.
  • Drive business development and prospecting in outside sales with a designated territory.
  • Learn to manage customer priorities, ensuring quick response times and on-time delivery.
  • Participate in training in Houston, TX to network with corporate leaders and support teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Management, Business, Sales, Entrepreneurial Studies, or similar.
  • Graduation dates between May 2024 and May 2025.
  • Detail-oriented, leadership skills, team-oriented, self-motivated, and possess an entrepreneurial spirit.
  • Long-term flexibility in location within the region, with a willingness to relocate for career opportunities upon completion of the program.
