About the position

The Access Management Analyst position at Applied Medical involves managing access requests and ensuring compliance with access control policies. The role focuses on analyzing access requests, granting and removing access, and collaborating with internal teams to mitigate access control risks. The analyst will also be responsible for monitoring SAP license usage and streamlining access management processes to enhance efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Receive and respond to phone and email requests for access related assistance and log the request in a Help Desk management system.
  • Analyze access requests and assist the team member in determining what training and access is required.
  • Grant and remove access as appropriate.
  • Ensure SAP roles are created and maintained to prevent or decrease SoD conflict risks.
  • Gather and document requirements for SAP role creation and changes.
  • Deploy all Corporate Application training materials to required team members, as appropriate.
  • Approve SoD mitigations within the Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) system.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to determine and document appropriate mitigating controls and other access control risks in GRC.
  • Analyze and monitor SAP license usage and submit purchase requests when required.
  • Assist in streamlining and automating the access management process.
  • Identify areas of improvement and play a key role in the implementation.
  • Evaluate and trend access-related tickets and identify areas of improvement, taking action as required.

Requirements

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and prioritization abilities: Ability to manage multiple tasks and adjust priorities as needed.
  • Detail-oriented: Excellent follow-up skills to ensure accurate and timely completion of tasks.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications: Including Excel, Windows, and Microsoft Edge.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment: Essential for working with internal teams and stakeholders.
  • Problem-solving skills: Identify issues, analyze solutions, and implement resolutions with critical thinking and creativity.
  • Analytical skills: Identify areas of improvement and assist in the implementation of proposed solutions.
