About the position

The Access & Reimbursement Manager (ARM) at Syneos Health will serve as the subject-matter expert on reimbursement, access, and coverage issues affecting the client's products. This remote/field-based role involves providing education to healthcare providers (HCPs) and field teams regarding reimbursement and access to facilitate patient access to products. The ARM will analyze reimbursement issues, coordinate with various stakeholders, and support patient access initiatives while adhering to corporate policies.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze access/reimbursement issues.
  • Provide product access/reimbursement education to HCP offices.
  • Educate field teams on access/reimbursement issues upon approved direction.
  • Coordinate with third parties, including hubs, on access/reimbursement issues.
  • Provide education and support on Specialty Pharmacy issues for pharmacy benefit products.
  • Inform HCPs on product coverage under various benefit designs (Commercial, Medicare Part D, Medicaid).
  • Answer questions about coverage and ICD-10 codes related to products.
  • Educate HCPs on key private and public payer coverage changes impacting product access.
  • Support patient access by providing expertise on payer coverage issues.
  • Educate HCP offices on the product hub program and patient support offerings.
  • Attend National and Regional Meetings.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or 4+ years of professional sales, healthcare, scientific, marketing, or military experience.
  • Minimum three years' experience in public or private third-party reimbursement or pharmaceutical industry.
  • Experience in Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension preferred.
  • Experience in Cardiology, Pulmonology, or orphan drug required.
  • Proven experience with hubs and knowledge of billing, coding, and appeals across provider types.
  • Experience with commercial payers, Medicare plans, and state Medicaid in the geographic region.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both written and verbal.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel within the assigned territory.
