About the position

The Accessory Demand Planner at Victra, Verizon's largest retail partner, is responsible for forecasting and improving inventory and supply chain functions across a nationwide network of stores. This role requires strong analytical skills, effective communication, and collaboration with various teams to ensure accurate demand forecasting and inventory management.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain forecast models incorporating business intelligence and sales data.
• Analyze demand changes with distribution partners and brands to ensure forecast accuracy.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for new product launches.
• Design and generate weekly/monthly forecasting models.
• Conduct forecasting analysis with Data Analytics and FP&A functions.
• Measure forecast accuracy and control inventory targets approved by management.
• Assemble and analyze data for sales forecasts based on historical sales and market trends.
• Recommend inventory target adjustments based on demand changes.
• Manage item life-cycle according to market trends and device life-cycle.
• Review sales forecasts and inventory coverage, focusing on brand transitions and new product introductions.
• Maintain documentation and standard operating procedures for demand planning processes.
• Prepare reports and communicate forecast and inventory measurements to partners.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in inventory scheduling, forecasting, and planning.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel; familiarity with RQ4 preferred.
• Good communication and team-building skills.
• Highly organized in managing projects and compiling data from multiple sources.
• Extensive spreadsheet analysis and strong mathematical skills.
• Knowledge of key inventory performance metrics.
• Collaborative skills in resolving inventory positions.
