About the position

The Accessory Sales Operations Manager at Subaru of America is responsible for overseeing the creation and management of accessory application charts, pricing, and the Retail Accessory Management (RAM) system. This role serves as the primary point of contact for internal departments, vendors, and the field, ensuring data accuracy and applicability of accessories across all vehicle lines. The position requires strong analytical skills, project management capabilities, and effective communication to coordinate accessory launches and pricing operations while maintaining profitability and compliance with company standards.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update accessory application charts for all vehicle lines throughout the year.
  • Validate and approve accessory charts developed by specialists.
  • Utilize the Retail Accessory Management (RAM) system for accessory pricing distribution to downstream business units.
  • Ensure RAM processes are functioning correctly and address issues with IT and stakeholders.
  • Develop and manage detailed project schedules for accessory operations.
  • Coordinate with the Distribution Department on accessory applications and rules in Oracle.
  • Act as the direct point of contact for new accessory product launches, ensuring all teams are prepared.
  • Determine post-launch accessory pricing changes and maintain profit margins.
  • Conduct monthly audits of labor times to ensure pricing accuracy.
  • Suggest MSRP price reductions for accessories with excess stock.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • 6 to 8 years of relevant experience in automotive or accessory management.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong data analysis and management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.

Nice-to-haves

  • Familiarity with Subaru accessories and automotive industry knowledge.
