About The Position

The Aetna National Accounts Account Associate will support the account team in delivering exceptional customer satisfaction for a San Francisco, CA Plan Sponsor. This role serves as a liaison between the Plan Sponsor and Aetna, focusing on member/customer service duties, resolving escalated member issues, and educating members on available benefits and programs. The position is primarily remote but may require attendance at on-site meetings and events.

Requirements

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Experience in customer service or account management.
• Ability to work collaboratively with various departments.
• Proficiency in using phone and email for communication.

Responsibilities

• Function as a liaison between the Plan Sponsor and Aetna.
• Perform member/customer service duties.
• Collaborate directly with members or benefit representatives at the plan sponsor.
• Interact via phone and e-mail to resolve escalated member issues.
• Work closely with various department contacts (claims, eligibility, pre-cert, clinical) to address customer needs.
• Ensure superior customer service in support of Plan Sponsor expectations.
• Respond timely to inquiries and track issues to resolution.
• Educate members on available benefits and programs and promote consumer tools.
