About the position

The Account Based Marketing (ABM) Intern position at Commvault offers a unique opportunity for individuals passionate about marketing to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic and innovative environment. This internship focuses on learning ABM strategies, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and contributing to the success of ABM marketing campaigns. Interns will engage in various tasks that enhance their understanding of marketing strategies and provide valuable insights into customer behavior.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct account research to identify target accounts and key decision-makers.
  • Analyze account engagement and digital metrics to gain insights into customer behavior and preferences.
  • Assist in the development of buyer personas and account profiles.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team and outside agency to plan and execute ABM digital/social campaigns.
  • Assist in the creation of personalized content and messaging for target accounts.
  • Monitor and report on the performance of ABM campaigns, providing recommendations for optimization.
  • Help coordinate enablement sessions for sales and extended teams to communicate ABM programs to internal teams.
  • Work closely with product marketing, field marketing, campaigns team, and customer success teams to align marketing efforts with business objectives.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas for marketing initiatives.
  • Help with the preparation of presentations and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Help set up enablement sessions and learn to use marketing tools such as 6Sense and project management tools such as Smartsheet.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Business, Communication, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with marketing tools and platforms (e.g. Marketo, Salesforce) is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
