About the position

The Account Coordinator in the Employee Benefits division at AssuredPartners is responsible for supporting client retention and account management while delivering exceptional benefits solutions. This entry-level position offers the opportunity to learn from industry experts and develop a career in insurance, with high visibility to senior leadership and potential for upward movement within the client services teams.

Responsibilities

• Support client retention by maintaining a positive image with the client
• Assist with creating open enrollment guides
• Finalize client presentations for new business and renewal meetings
• Gather information related to underwriting, data analytics, marketing, and HR services
• Maintain relationships with carriers and coordinate meetings with them
• Enter accurate client information into the agency management system
• Prepare for RFPs and ensure deadlines are met by carriers
• Prepare client-facing proposals and documents for the Account Executive
• Assist with pricing standard and custom benefit plans
• Review claim reports and prepare executive summaries and renewal forecasting
• Support Open Enrollment meetings and communications
• Assist with compliance forms and processes
• Create and update Excel workbooks and update systems
• Engage in learning and studying industry trends
• Coordinate and schedule meetings with carriers as instructed by the Account Executive

Requirements

• Must obtain appropriate Life and Health license within 6 months of hire
• Strong organization and written/verbal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and conscientiousness
• Efficient prioritization and time management skills
• Demonstrated customer service focus
• Ability to quickly learn multiple software systems
• Proficient in Microsoft Office or similar systems, including spreadsheets, email, word processing, and presentation software
