About the position

The Account Coordinator at AssuredPartners is responsible for providing administrative support to a designated Property & Casualty book of business. This role involves assisting Account Executives and other team members in managing client relationships and ensuring efficient service delivery. The position is hybrid, based in San Jose, CA, and requires strong organizational and communication skills to handle various administrative tasks effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Process certificates of insurance.
  • Provide Auto ID cards.
  • Produce endorsements and manage renewal questionnaires.
  • Collect client payroll and employee data.
  • Facilitate stand-alone policy renewals and issue/manage coverage invoices.
  • Maintain program database and provide customer support for online resources.
  • Create and print PowerPoint presentations, spreadsheets, and documents.
  • Prepare annual program summary materials and attend client meetings as assigned.
  • Coordinate JPA meeting processes, including preparation and distribution of agendas and minutes.
  • Verify JPA meeting quorums and maintain JPA calendar, policies, and contracts.
  • Prepare, distribute, and maintain JPA documents and handle Form 700 and Secretary of State filings.
  • Coordinate virtual meetings, travel arrangements, and client dinners/meetings.
  • Process expense reports and provide receptionist coverage as assigned.

Requirements

  • Minimum of two (2) years administrative experience.
  • Active Property & Casualty License preferred (must secure within one year if not licensed).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Organized and detail-oriented.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in the insurance industry.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce and online resource management.
