About the position

The Account Development Executive will play a crucial role in launching a new partnership program aimed at supporting local businesses in rural communities. This position involves identifying potential partnerships, generating interest, and guiding businesses through the application process to help them expand and increase their income. The role requires a mix of travel and remote work, with a focus on building relationships and managing sales activities effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Travel within an assigned territory to visit prospective businesses door-to-door.
  • Present and pitch the new program opportunity to prospective businesses.
  • Qualify prospective businesses and guide them through the application and vetting process.
  • Track lead activity and manage the sales pipeline in Salesforce.
  • Support the Field Manager in planning and hosting recruitment events in the community.
  • Partner with local influencers such as chambers of commerce and economic development associations.
  • Import Excel spreadsheets into Salesforce weekly.
  • Maintain and assign leads to the sales team, prospecting for new leads.
  • Manage the flow of incoming leads and create sales reports.
  • Analyze lead data including conversion rates and cost of leads.
  • Act as a liaison with other groups in the company to improve sales processes.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of prior sales and/or customer service experience.
  • Tech savvy with experience working with multiple systems and technology.
  • Intermediate/advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
  • Previous experience with ACT!, Salesforce.com, or other SFA tools.
  • Online research experience.
  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
  • Professionalism and enthusiasm to work with others.
  • High sense of urgency and attention to detail.
  • Ability to solve problems for applicants in the field.

  • Uncapped commissions with expected commission for high performers around $14,000 per year.
  • $50 monthly phone bill reimbursement.
