About the position

The Account Development Manager at Ryder is responsible for expanding the company's footprint in the used vehicle sales market by generating and nurturing qualified leads for Used Vehicle Sales Managers. This fully remote position focuses on shortening the sales cycle and enhancing customer engagement across multiple geographic territories. The role offers a structured work week, competitive salary, and commission opportunities, along with a comprehensive benefits package.

Responsibilities

  • Engages in lead nurturing and assesses whether leads merit one-on-one attention.
  • Accomplishes one-on-one nurturing and determines if leads merit assigning a used vehicle sales resource.
  • Schedules meetings between Sales Qualified leads and Used Vehicle Sales Managers.
  • Educates and develops prospects regarding Ryder's UVS Value Proposition and Services offered.
  • Maintains a high level of call volume to pass qualified leads to UVS Managers, set customer appointments, and generate revenue.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business/marketing or equivalent experience required.
  • Three or more years of successful sales experience preferred.
  • Three or more years of Inside Sales experience preferred.
  • Five or more years of selling in a B2B environment preferred.
  • Excellent systems literacy knowledge - MS Office, Excel, Word, Internet intermediate required.
