About the position

The Account Development Representative/Brand Ambassador at Ancient Roots is a dynamic role focused on representing the brand within the Ohio cannabis community. The position involves building relationships with dispensaries and budtenders, educating them about the company's solventless cannabis products, and managing social media content to enhance brand visibility. The ideal candidate is passionate about cannabis education and has a background in social media management and sales.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the face of the Ancient Roots brand at dispensaries and industry events.
  • Build and manage relationships with dispensary staff and budtenders to keep them informed about product releases and promotions.
  • Provide in-depth product knowledge about solventless, full-spectrum products to dispensaries and consumers.
  • Develop and execute social media strategies, creating and posting content across platforms like Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure social media content aligns with current marketing campaigns.
  • Organize and attend promotional events and product demos to increase brand awareness.
  • Gather feedback from dispensary partners and customers to improve product offerings and engagement.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and competitor products to position Ancient Roots effectively.
  • Track and report on social media performance, adjusting strategies to maximize engagement.

Requirements

  • 2-3 years of experience in social media management, including content creation and community engagement.
  • 2-3 years of sales experience, preferably in the cannabis, health, or wellness industries.
  • Strong understanding of cannabis products, specifically the benefits of full-spectrum and solventless processes, or a willingness to learn.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills to educate and engage dispensary staff and consumers.
  • Proven ability to create compelling, on-brand social media content that drives engagement and brand loyalty.
  • Highly organized and self-motivated, capable of managing multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
  • Willingness to travel to dispensaries and industry events as needed.
