About the position

The Account Director at Dieste Health is responsible for overseeing daily operations, managing junior team members, and strengthening client relationships. This role requires strategic support and leadership to help clients achieve their communication and business objectives, particularly in the healthcare sector. The Account Director will leverage deep category knowledge and strategic marketing acumen to drive brand growth and ensure high-quality deliverables that exceed client expectations.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations and manage junior team members.
  • Strengthen specific client relationships and provide strategic support.
  • Develop and maintain meaningful client relationships at all levels.
  • Provide proactive counsel on research findings and market influences.
  • Initiate ongoing communication with clients to manage expectations.
  • Manage project budgets and ensure timely delivery of services.
  • Lead cross-functional teams in delivering digital marketing programs.
  • Contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Develop growth plans and provide coaching to team members.
  • Identify opportunities to bring value to clients' businesses.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in healthcare/pharma communications or similar roles.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher.
  • Understanding of DTC/HCP marketing communications and regulations in the pharmaceutical/healthcare industry.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills.
  • Experience in both Patient and HCP communications.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe.
  • Experience with Veeva Vault PromoMats for promotional materials.
  • Familiarity with the OPDP submission/review process.
  • Prior internal team and client management experience.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective client relationships.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bilingual: Spanish Fluent is a plus.
  • Multicultural pharmaceutical experience.
