About the position

The Account Director - Logistics at Catalyx is responsible for expanding engagement with enterprise accounts in the logistics sector. This role involves building and maintaining relationships with high-level decision-makers, understanding client needs, and providing strategic solutions. The director will manage the sales cycle from initial contact to closing deals, while also collaborating with internal teams to develop tailored solutions for clients.

Responsibilities

  • Increase the scope of engagement in defined enterprise accounts.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with high-level decision-makers.
  • Understand client needs, challenges, and long-term business objectives.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor, providing strategic guidance and solutions.
  • Foster ongoing communication and collaboration to build trust and long-term partnerships.
  • Identify and qualify new enterprise-level sales opportunities.
  • Deliver compelling sales presentations showcasing product/service value.
  • Negotiate and close complex sales deals.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop customized solutions.
  • Manage the sales cycle from initial contact to securing purchase orders.

Requirements

  • A strong and current network in Logistics Control or Resource Planning Solutions and/or Logistics Operations in large scale enterprises.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in successful selling of relevant solutions and services within Logistics environments at Enterprise Level.
  • History of meeting/exceeding sales goals.
  • Strong prospecting, presentation, and closing skills.
  • Sales planning and selling to customer needs (solution selling).
  • Territory management and market knowledge of the Life Science Industry.
  • Self-motivation for sales/results, high energy level, and professionalism.
  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Technical Marketing, MIS, or related IT degrees.
  • Strong technical writing, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Experience with typical off-the-shelf CRM software and Microsoft Office packages.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in Business Consulting sales would be a distinct advantage.
