About the position

Boats Group is thrilled to expand our team with additional Account Directors. As our Account Director, you'll manage an established client base and spearhead revenue growth through consultative sales, and turning leads into loyal clients. You will take the lead role in driving revenue through renewals and growing wallet share. Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong relationships within your territory, establishing credibility with business owners and focusing on client retention and growth.
  • Utilize consultative selling skills to understand client goals and ensure our solutions meet their needs, aiming to enhance client satisfaction and revenue.
  • Analyze data points and integrate them into conversations to drive sales.
  • Achieve revenue and sales targets.
  • Educate clients on the evolving Boats Group product suite, helping them expand their digital presence.
  • Clearly communicate the ROI our products deliver to clients.
  • Collaborate with various Boats Group teams to ensure seamless sales channel coordination and success.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated success in retaining and expanding client accounts, with a focus on driving long-term growth.
  • Specific experience with large books of business and high ticket sales is required.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a relevant role.
  • Experience in SaaS, advertising, or a strong technology background, ideally with a solid understanding of the marine or boating industry.
  • Expertise in managing client relationships, effectively resolving issues, and converting dissatisfaction into positive outcomes.
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Exceptional listening skills with the ability to translate client needs into actionable and effective solutions.
  • Proficient in Google Suite and Salesforce, with a solid understanding of CRM and project management tools.
  • Experienced in negotiating contracts and agreements to achieve favorable outcomes for both the company and clients.
  • Competence in analyzing performance metrics and client data to inform decision-making and optimize strategies.
