About the position

The Account Executive - Direct Sales role at Dell Technologies focuses on developing new accounts and expanding existing ones. This position is crucial for building strong customer relationships and ensuring an outstanding customer experience. The Account Executive will engage with decision-makers, understand their business needs, and drive sales of Dell's technology solutions, contributing to the company's growth and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Develop an understanding of customers' business and solution requirements
  • Gain share of spend across Dell Technologies portfolio of technology solutions
  • Run territory and/or accounts, including account planning and sales forecasting
  • Engage with cross-functional resources and work with virtual teams to ensure alignment
  • Regularly engage with decision makers at client facilities
  • Provide sales leadership and experience on large, sophisticated opportunities

Requirements

  • At least 5 to 8 years of experience selling technology solutions
  • Expert knowledge of market trends impacting Dell Technologies customers
  • Outstanding customer management and strategic selling skills
  • Strong communication, collaboration, negotiation, and executive presentation skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, ambitious environment
