About the position

The position is responsible for developing sales territories and driving the sales of Comcast Business strategic products and solutions in new markets. The role involves acquiring and managing mid-market and enterprise customers through direct and partner channels, delivering live sales presentations, and building relationships with clients to position the Comcast Business brand effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Develops the strategy of the sales territory, including identifying strategic partnerships and planning territory development.
  • Actively researches and generates new leads through various prospecting activities such as cold calling and customer referrals.
  • Promotes and positions the Comcast brand within the territory.
  • Builds relationships and drives alignment between key GTM partners.
  • Creates and delivers face-to-face sales presentations to prospective clients.
  • Sells with goals of exceeding departmental financial and unit targets.
  • Stays informed about the competitive landscape and emerging technologies.
  • Retains customer base by ensuring a superior customer experience.
  • Maintains and builds customer relationships to drive retention.
  • Works with internal teams to ensure operational efficiencies and service levels meet customer expectations.
  • Maintains accurate sales records and prepares sales reports as required.
  • Attends out-of-the-office meetings with customers regularly and demonstrates excellent communication skills.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred, or a combination of coursework and experience, or extensive related professional experience.
  • 5-7 years of relevant work experience.
  • In-depth experience in selling complex solutions.
  • Knowledge of Network Design, SDWAN, and Network Security.
  • Familiarity with MAN technologies, Ethernet, Internet Technologies, Voice Network Technologies, and Data Networking Technologies.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in presenting, persuading, and negotiating effectively.
  • Knowledge of Cybersecurity and Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery concepts.
