About the position

The Account Executive 3, Enterprise Direct Sales role at Comcast is focused on driving sales strategy for High Capacity Ethernet Networks, Internet, Video, and Voice-based services specifically targeting Government, Education, and Medical institutions, as well as complex enterprise customers. This position requires a proactive approach to client acquisition, relationship management, and sales presentations, with an emphasis on exceeding financial targets and enhancing customer experience.

Responsibilities

  • Create and deliver face-to-face sales presentations to strategic prospective clients.
  • Exceed departmental financial and unit targets through effective sales strategies.
  • Stay informed about the competitive landscape and emerging technologies.
  • Develop the sales territory strategy, including identifying partnerships and cultivating local affiliations.
  • Research and generate new leads through prospecting activities such as cold calling and customer referrals.
  • Promote and position the Comcast brand within the territory.
  • Retain customer base by ensuring a superior customer experience.
  • Maintain and build customer relationships to drive retention.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure operational efficiencies and service levels meet customer expectations.
  • Maintain accurate sales records and prepare required sales and activity reports.
  • Attend out-of-office meetings with customers and demonstrate excellent communication skills.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • 5-7 years of relevant work experience in sales or customer service.
  • Strong presentation and negotiation skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of computer networking and related technologies.
  • Ability to work independently and exercise judgment in significant matters.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Network Design and MAN technologies.
  • Familiarity with E-rate Contracting Processes and Procedures.
