About the position

The Account Executive 3, Enterprise Direct Sales is responsible for selling Comcast's Commercial Internet, Video, and Voice services to mid-size and large businesses. This role involves driving sales through various prospecting activities, building relationships with clients, and delivering live sales presentations. The position requires in-depth knowledge of the industry and the ability to work independently while contributing to team goals.

Responsibilities

  • Create and deliver face-to-face sales presentations demonstrating knowledge of Comcast products and services.
  • Exceed departmental financial and unit targets through effective sales strategies.
  • Develop sales territory by cultivating local partnerships and generating new leads through various prospecting activities.
  • Retain customer base by ensuring a superior customer experience and maintaining strong customer relationships.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate sales records and activity reports as required.
  • Attend out-of-office meetings with customers and demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of Network Design and various technologies related to voice and data networking.
  • Exercise independent judgment and discretion in significant matters.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred or equivalent combination of coursework and experience.
  • 5-7 years of relevant work experience in sales, particularly in direct selling to large businesses.
  • Strong skills in cold calling, lead generation, and prospecting.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present and negotiate effectively.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Network Design and technologies such as VoIP and Data Networking.
  • Familiarity with Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery concepts.
